Departs Tuesdays – starts in Gauteng and ends in Phalaborwa
Limpopo provides great value-for money for golfers! This package offers groups of 4 or 8 the chance to play at 6 different courses over 7 days whilst enjoying the wildlife of our beautiful province – ending at the world-famous Kruger National Park.
Day 1: Gauteng to Modimolle
Golf course for the day: Koro Creek Bushveld Golf Estate
Depart Gauteng and drive north on the N1 to Modimolle. Take the Kranskop turn-off to the town, and enter the golf estate for the first game of the tour. The rate includes the use of golf carts and a halfway house.
This 18 hole championship golf course is a 6 825m Par 72 and a true challenge with the fairways narrowing as you enter onto the green - make sure you bring along your putting game! The course was designed by the DDV-Design Group with construction and maintenance done by Wonder Gardens who was also involved in the development of Leopard Creek and The Links at Fancourt.
After a round of golf, check into the accommodation for the next 3 nights – 7th Hole Golf Lodge – which is situated next to the 7th Hole of the Koro Creek golf course. Freshen up and then head back to the clubhouse for dinner (own account).
Day 2: Zebula Golf Estate

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at 7th Hole Golf Lodge before heading to Zebula for the day.
The Peter Matkovich designed course blends easily into the environment, and there is always a chance to encounter wildlife on the course. The course is par 72 and has a minimum distance of 5 287m for ladies and 6 023 for gentlemen. The halfway house is for your own account. After the 18 hole round of golf, enjoy a late afternoon game drive (3 hours), before returning to the Syringa restaurant for dinner (own account). Return to 7th Hole Golf Lodge after dinner.
Day 3: Euphoria Golf Estate

The first golf course designed by Annika Sorenstam is the destination for the day after a leisurely breakfast at 7th Hole Golf Lodge.
Designed with a serious commitment to the preservation of the indigenous fauna and flora, it is the combination of golf and the unsurpassed beauty of the Waterberg landscape that makes Euphoria such a unique golfing experience. The tranquil setting belies the challenging nature of the Annika Sorenstam-signature 18-hole Championship Golf Course.
The afternoon is spent at leisure at 7th Hole Golf Lodge.
Dinner (own account) is suggested at Pepe’s – one of the best restaurants in the town of Modimolle.
Day 4: Travel to Tzaneen
Check out of 7th Hole Golf Lodge after breakfast and travel north along the N1 towards Polokwane. Bypass the capital of the Limpopo province and head for the mountains using the R71. Haenertsburg offers a variety of restaurants for lunch (own account).
After lunch, take a leisurely drive down the Magoebaskloof pass towards Tzaneen to check in to the Fairview Hotel. This pristine property boasts a collection of two hotels, the four star graded Fairview Hotel and Conference Centre, and the five star graded Village and Spa at Fairview, both situated on 26 ha of farmland.
The afternoon is at leisure and can be used to either try out the Spa, or enjoy drinks at the patio bar. Dinner is served in the Le’Thaba Restaurant (own account).
Day 5: Tzaneen
After breakfast, it is time to take on the Par 3 mashie golf course at Fairview. Players can enjoy the scenic design, indigenous vegetation and abundance of birdlife on the course that mainly lies on the embankment of the Letaba River. Lunch is served at the patio bar (own account).
After lunch, there is an opportunity to play 9 holes at the Tzaneen Country Club. The front nine has long escalating and curving fairways, giving the long drivers a chance to show their mettle. The back nine boasts tricky slopes and angles, giving the game a bit more edge. The course has a wide variety of trees indigenous to South Africa, all planted strategically, giving the course a picturesque beauty, with towering green mountains as a backdrop.

Day 6: Tzaneen to Phalaborwa
Golf course for the day: Hans Merensky – Golf in the Wild
After an early breakfast, it is time to depart for Phalaborwa. An early tee-off time is recommended for this world famous course set in a unique bushveld atmosphere. Share your experience with our resident Giraffe, Hippo, Crocodiles and many other permanent residents
The 18 hole Bob Grimsdell designed Par 72 Championship Golf course has been voted as the best walking course in the country (golf carts are for your own account on this course). The Hans Merensky Golf Estate in Phalaborwa received the Diamond Arrow Award for being the highest rated golf course in a survey conducted by the Limpopo Province.
Check in to the aha Sefapane Lodge after lunch. The afternoon can be spent at leisure, or be used to participate in game viewing and other activities offered in and around Phalaborwa.
Dinner is served at Sefapane Lodge and is included in the rate.
Day 7: Morning Game Drive into Kruger National Park
An early morning game drive into the Kruger National Park is the perfect way to end of a week of golf and game in Limpopo. Sefapane Lodge has their own open safari vehicles and guides.
The tour ends in Phalaborwa and can connect to flights departing from either Phalaborwa or Hoedspruit.
